Students have a dedicated category. The TVFF Competition welcomes short films from a broad range of filmmakers and experience levels.

Student Film Competition

For eligible local high-school filmmakers and recent graduates. Selected shorts screen on the opening night of the festival.

TVFF Competition

For independent filmmakers, film clubs, first-time directors, and experienced teams. The required entry fee is $25, and selected shorts screen on Night 4.
